NEW YORK (Reuters) -
Bear Stearns Cos Inc (BSC.N)
shareholders approved the sale of the company to JPMorgan Chase
& Co
(JPM.N) on Thursday, a JPMorgan spokesman said.

In March, Bear Stearns agreed to sell itself in a deal now
worth about $9.46 a share after facing a run on the investment
bank.
