TORONTO (Reuters) –
Toronto's main stock index ended higher on Wednesday as strength in commodity prices boosted oil and gas companies and record gold prices sent Barrick Gold and other miners higher.

The S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 16.05 points, or 0.15 percent, at 11,041.95.
